DEMATERIALISATION ?
MY EARLIER REQUEST TO EXEMPT
NIDHI COMPANIES FROM COMPULSORY DEMATERIALISATION
I have requested MCA to exempt
the Nidhi companies from compulsory dematerialization on 20 September 2018 by
making a request to MCA through my blog.
My request was based on the
hardships suffered by Nidhi companies as many NIDHI companies have contacted me
and raised the issue of hardships they would face due to compulsory
dematerialization.
As Nidhi Companies will have
thousands of shareholders with 1 shareholding each. It would be really
difficult for the Nidhi companies to dematerialize the shares of its members
who holds only one share.
I requested that MCA should
come forward to exempt the Nidhi companies from the mandatory
dematerialization of shares.
HAPPY TO NOTE THAT I WAS ONE OF THE INSTRUMENT IN THE MCA NOTIFICATION
EXEMPTIN NIDHI COMPANIES
I am really happy to note that
I was one of the instrument in making the MCA to announce exemption to Nidhi
Companies from the compulsory dematerialization.
It is really heartening to note
that MCA & PMO office is looking
into genuine difficulties faced by the industry and ready to come forward to
redress the same.
