The annexure to General Circular no. 21/2014 dated
18.06.2014 gives clarification for undertaking disaster relief as eligible CSR
activities. Companies can undertake CSR activities on its own or through
trust/society/Section 8 Companies as has been mentioned in Companies (CSR
Policy) Rules, 2014.
That means before knocking the door of PMO for clarification, it should proper for us to check the circulars on this regard.
ReplyDeleteMy important question is that why all schemes like Channelizing all Rivers from north to south , educational schools , for years together waiting for Grants, Non Grant schools whose teachers are wotking Free of charge for years together, amount spent for such work should also be considered for CSR expenses.
